My name is Danielle, but friends call me Danzi! I like to say that I am a Jamaican girl living in a fantasy world!I am passionate about sharing my love for science fiction and fantasy books. These genres not only stoke the imagination, but also uphold a legacy of resistance. They hold a mirror up to current realities, while challenging us to imagine new ones. That is magic in itself!In addition to SFF, I read historical fiction, literary fiction, and romance across MG, YA, and adult age groups.I proudly showcase diverse stories by authors from the global majority, including Black, brown, indigenous, queer, and immigrant communities. I was born and raised in Jamaica, so I love to highlight writers from the Caribbean diaspora.
